Bentley Police Department – SUV Upfitting
We recently completed a full patrol vehicle upfit for the Bentley Police Department, focusing on delivering reliable performance while staying within a limited municipal budget.
For this project, we sourced a quality used vehicle and carefully reinstalled previously used equipment, strategically integrating it with updated components where needed. By blending proven equipment with newer technology, we created a fully functional, dependable patrol unit without unnecessary expense.
Every wire, mount, and system was installed with the same precision and attention to detail we bring to large fleet builds. The result is a seamless integration of old and new equipment, ensuring officers have the tools they need to patrol safely and effectively.

Rice County Sheriff Patrol / Command Vehicle
This is one of a kind. The Sheriff wanted a vehicle he could use for patrol and as a command post when needed.
We answered his request with a Fenix setup. Red/White/Blue for patrol and Green/White for command purposes. All lights can flash or be put on a steady burn for desired purposes.
Our team also incorporated Ram accessories to mount the controller/video and Skymo for the mobile radio. This allowed us to use the factory console without drilling into it for resale purposes.
Ford Explorer Transport Cage Installation
Blu-Line Upfitters recently completed a professional transport-cage installation inside a Ford Explorer police SUV in Kansas, built specifically for safe, secure prisoner transport and daily-duty reliability. The team integrated the cage to fit the Explorer’s interior precisely, ensuring proper clearances, solid mounting, and a clean, factory-quality finish that doesn’t interfere with operational controls or officer ergonomics.
This install was designed around real-world use – durability, safety, and easy maintenance. The cage and partition system provides a secure rear transport area while maintaining front-seat functionality, visibility, and access to essential equipment. Blu-Line Upfitters recently completed a Thunderstruck front bumper installation on a law enforcement Ford Explorer in Kansas, upgrading the vehicle with a rugged, duty-ready front-end solution designed for real-world police operations. The Thunderstruck bumper was precision-fitted to the Explorer’s front profile, maintaining factory safety systems while significantly improving front-end protection and equipment mounting capability.
